Amazing Mama

This girl amazes me. This is her seventh baby. That is right. She has seven kids. She makes it look so easy, and looks absolutely stunning on top of it. This is her last pregnancy and she decided she wanted to get some pictures done. Can I say again how much I wish I would have done this with at least one of mine?

Needless to say, the weather up here in Northern Utah is driving me BONKERS. Rain, snow, rain some more...it is getting the best of me. Not to mention that this baby is due any. day. now. We headed out for this shoot with dark clouds. I had prayed all day for it to hold off until we were done. Right in the middle of the session we both felt a couple of drops. Next thing we knew we were in the middle of a downpour. Despite the darn weather we did have fun getting as many shots in as we could! Thank you Stac!

Enjoy!!

A little bump in the road

My computer kicked the bucket.

I am glad I am married to an awesome computer "geek" who has hooked me up. (I use geek in the nicest way possible of course...he does have his personal motto that computer geeks like him rule the world. He just might be right. I was lost without my compuer.)

Secretly, I am glad it did. It was slow. Painfully slow.

Now I have speed but have to get everything set back up. Sessions will be getting posted as soon as possible and now it won't take "years" to get them put together.

That fact alone has me saying "Hip Hip Hooray!!"

Sweet little man...

This little guy did not want to sleep. At. All.

It took us a couple of hours to get him fast asleep and I got to work. We moved from pose to pose and ended up in the basket. Once we tried to move him out of the basket he decided he didn't want to go back to sleep again!

I got my newborn fix and loved every second of it! I love those little squeaks and how they curl up so easily. I would hold him all day long. I told his mom (my awesome roomie from college) that I would hold him anytime!

Thank you so much Jenny and Ben!
