My baby sister

It seems like my sister has been engaged FOREVER. Not really, but it feels like it at times. She would agree with me.

The second I saw her in her dress it hit me..."Holy crap. My baby sister is getting married." Michelle. Married. Married. Michelle.

Wow.

We are only 3 or 4 years apart in age right? Well, if you ask then that is exactly what I will tell you. :)

Jarrick and Michelle wanted a first look session. Can I tell you how nervous that poor boy was that morning? We were on our way to the shoot and he was to meet us there. LONG story short but we forgot her bouquet  {cannot be without that at all!} and her puppy. We called to tell him we would be a few minutes late and to go get a drink. "What drink should I get" was his response. Ummm...whatever drink you like :) hehe!

I blindfolded him for the trip to the location and you should have seen the looks on people's faces. By the look on one man's face, I think he was ready to call 911 to report a kidnapping. Me kidnap Jarrick? Good luck.

It was killing him not to look behind him.

 Then the moment finally arrived. I counted one...two...two and a quarter...two and a half...THREE!
Priceless. Now Michelle will always remember the way he looked the first time he saw her.

This is one of my FAVORITES EVER!

They had crossed the street before I did. They were standing there talking so I had to yell
"KISS HER ALREADY!" :)
I don't think he minded one bit.

Family fun on the farm! l Salt Lake Family Photographer

I love this family. Yes I do!

I did the twins birthday pictures this summer. This time it was the family's turn! We laughed because the last time we were together, it was so hot and humid. This time, it was so cold! Dad was a genius and brought hand warmers. So smart!

Little L melts my heart in this picture. Look how cute his expression is looking at his adorable sister!

I could squeeze each one of them and take them home with me.
And last but certainly not least...these two were a crack up! They wanted pictures where the fire had been. They showed me their muscles and their best ninja moves. Their crazy faces were my favorite, hands down!

**Clients please note: If you were waiting on a gallery that was due...it may be delayed a day or two because of the holiday. The good news is that due to a nasty cold and the snow outside I am working like a mad woman and should be all caught up soon! :) Thank you for being so awesome! HUGS!!!

When the family gets together l Salt Lake family photographer

With thanksgiving a few days away and my cute sister's wedding only about a month away I am still behind on sneak peeks. If you don't see your family's peek up on the blog, it is because I just can't seem to get them all up in time! I am currently booked for the season and am so thankful to have met such wonderful people! Thank you, thank you!

This session was FREEZING cold. Thankfully no wind but did I mention so so so cold?!  The sun came out just as I finished getting everyone in to place, which we loved to have because it warmed everyone up but if it wouldn't have gone back behind the clouds, we would have had to rearrange. Thank you mother nature! There is only one picture for now but I will try to get some more posted.

Family love l Utah family photographer

This family was so sweet.  They were willing to have a shoot on Halloween, well Utah Halloween. :)  This family was so cute with each other. They loved to play and have fun together. They had the best personalities and had me cracking up. My cheeks hurt when we were done! That is the sign of a fun session! :)

Family fun in the city

I am still very behind on sneak peeks, darn it!  I am working on getting sessions up for galleries and cards done and somehow the sneak peeks seem to be the first to slip through the cracks.

But here is a sneak for one awesome, fun and gorgeous family. I have the best clients. I really do! :)
Their littlest had me laughing. He can pull some hilarious faces. The girls are beautiful! I could go on and on! It was fun going throughout the city with this family! But enough with that...on to the PICTURES!! YAY!!!! My favorite! :)

Bam!

Well it happened.

I am behind.

Between session scheduling, shooting, sneak peeks, galleries, chrismas cards and packaging...I am up to my eyeballs in work!

I thought for sure I would be able to keep up. I am now finding out that it is impossible for a photographer to be "on schedule" this time of year! Thank you so much for your patience! I promise...things are coming! :)

On another note...here is couple of cards for this holiday season!

The Adorable C family / Utah Family Photographer

Alright y'all (I am not southern but I thought a good y'all was in order...alright sounded sooo boring!)

anyway...

I am swimming in edits, sneak peeks, Christmas cards and emails! :) HOORAY for me! I just wanted to say a HUGE thank you to all of my clients and for spreading the word. I couldn't do this without you!

I have been working and working and working. So much so that my free Pandora minutes from the month are all gone. I have nada. Zilch. Zero. None whatsoever left. What is a girl to do? Make another account and start burning through those minutes! hehehe!

This absolutely gorgeous family is the sister of another client. Their kids were so much fun and we had fun setting up for a shoot, clicking a few times and then moving out of the way of the tractor that would circle through every 5-10 minutes. The twins became pros on listening for the motor!

This little guy does not give away smiles without watching you work for it. Boy, did I work! It was worth it because look what I got! :)
See what I mean? Gorgeous family huh!

The boys brought their bikes. Their little faces lit up and off they flew pretending to be pilots.

And while the munchkins were occupied with the iphone we snapped some of Mom and Dad.

My blue eyed buddy is back! l Utah Family Photographer

I was so excited to see this cute family again. Cody is my buddy and to make things even more exciting...he is a big brother and I couldn't wait to see his new little sister!

He had a birthday the day before our shoot and of course he is  SOOO much taller now!

This little girl was the sweetest, squeakiest, most content baby ever. I wished it wasn't cold out because I would have loved to do some "bebe-nudie" shots ;) but considering this is her hungry...maybe she wouldn't have minded the cold for a minute. Seriously. She was hungry here. Fussed for a second then went back to sleep. Fussed might not be the right word. Squeaked might be a better choice. So stinking cute!

And this lady here...had a baby three weeks ago. THREE WEEKS. She looked amazing. I would never have been willing for family pictures for at least a year after!

Thank you A family for a fun session!!!

It's official! / Utah engagement photographer

So here is a peek at Michelle and Jarrick's actual engagement pictures. There is something about photographing engagments, they are so in love and can't keep their hands off each other! :)  We went all over town and didn't even end up making it to all the places we had planned.  The big day is creeping closer and next up we will have her bridals and the groomals!

Have I mentioned just how much I {heart} my job?!

Happy Family / Utah Family Photographer

This awesome family was a breeze to photograph! Gorgeous Momma, fun Dad (who may love to pretend to be a monster and tickle his kids), and four beautiful kids.

Does it get better than that? I think not!
